Training Week 2

Once again the boys gathered for Beer, and once again we had a BBQ. At this point Oktoberfest is less than a month away. And things are looking good. We still havent found more members to fill out the team. But currently between the 3 of us, we might not need them, haha. **Roster including pics and bios will be posted SOON**



Our Beer of the Month for September: Beck's

Training Week 1

Our first Beer drinking gathering was a success. The guys got together for a BBQ and throw back some suds. With Oktoberfest (2006 that is) closing in one us, we need to step it up a bit. But for a first showing, it was a good one.

Not that I havent always been a beer drinker, but seeing the Movie BeerFest made me realize just how much more I needed to get involved in the beer community. And just how small I was in the "grand scheme" of things. Watching the Germans put down such large quantities is mind boggling! It made me jealous.

So with OktoberFest just weeks away, and being that we have a local German community only minutes outside of my hometown, (Lafayette, LA) and we plan on attending our local OktoberFest in Robert's Cove and drink with the Germans here, should prove to be a healthy start to a year long dedication to bettring our drinking skills. And we've put together a team of beer drinkers..and given ourselves 1 year to train. And then we will be attending OktoberFest in Munich, Germany in 2007.

As of now we have a 3 man roster, eventualy moving up to 6 (5 members, and 1 reserve). But at this time we are being VERY selective, cause we plan on representing the US in style, not with some plonker who cant hold thier liquor.
